This blog is no longer solely devoted to fitness and health food ( although I will frequent it still). Rather, I have decided to be more inclusive of emotions, and creativity.

I made a post asking you guys if I should make raw chocolate today, and I really wanted to make raw chocolate today, so I did! And I cannot tell you how tasty this stuff was. It melted like heaven in my mouth… Anyhow, here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

100g CHOC CHICK raw cacao butter

1/2 cup raw cacao (I only had nibs so I ground mine)

Raw agave nectar I used just over a teaspoon, but add to your liking.

Any other things you want in your chocolate i.e nuts, dried fruits, coconut shavings, peanut butter.

Method:

Heat water in a large pan until almost boiling. Turn off the heat and place a heat proof bowl inside with your cacao butter. Keep stirring until it is all melted. I recommend grating the butter first so that it will melt quicker.

When it is fully melted, stir in your cacao powder until smooth, and then add anything else you want in your chocolate.

Pour the chocolate into molds. I didn’t have any, so I used a butter dish and a cake tin. If I’d of had an ice cube tray I would have used that rather. 

Place in the fridge for 15-20 minutes, and if you really want it, wait impatiently like I did. Those minutes will last forever.
